LIFTING EYE BOLTS AND LIFTING EYE NUTS PACKAGING
NEW REQUIREMENTS. NEW SOLUTIONS!
Safety regulations no longer allow the sale of individual eye bolts -nuts unless they are accompanied by the mandatory documents. Packs must contain instructions for use and certificate 3.1 EN 10204 and must be sold intact and complete with the above mentioned documents. The content of our standard packs may sometimes exceed the requirements for retail sale or large-scale retail trade. We have now solved this problem by adding 4 new pack options:
PACK U
This is a small bag for single pieces measuring 15x10 cm made of transparent polythene. A punched hole allows the bag to be hung on displays in hardware stores and large DIY retailers.
Each pack contains the mandatory instructions for use and the 3.1 EN 10204 certificate relative to each production lot.
Our MINICERT label is affixed to the outside of each bag.
The label contains the EAN13 barcode.
PACK F
This is a small box measuring 13x10.5x4 cm with a transparent window that allows the product to be seen. A pull-out tab allows the pack to be hung on displays in hardware stores and large DIY retailers.
The eye bolts are protected by a shock absorbing pad and can be seen from outside the box; each pack contains the mandatory instructions for use and the 3.1 EN 10204 certificate relative to each production lot.
Our MINICERT label is affixed to the outside of each pack. The label contains the EAN13 barcode.

This is a small box measuring 12x8x8 cm and suitable for small quantity retail sale.

STANDARD PACKAGING
Lifting eye bolts and lifting eye nuts are placed in strong corrugated cardboard boxes with no dangerous metallic staples, with a product identification label (MINICERT) and in accordance with the quantities stated below. Each pack contains the mandatory instructions for use and the 3.1 EN 10204 certificate relative to each production lot.
LABELS
An adhesive product identification label is applied to each box, which also states the quantity within the box.
The label is particularly important for lifting eye bolts and lifting eye nuts as it displays the product type as well as other important information such as the Working Load Limits, the chemical analysis and the lot number.
This label is called MINICERT (mini certification).
